TRENDnet TV-IP201W
-
Camera Three has arrived, is now up and running, and NEPA309.Com has its old view of the highway back.
I'm still playing around with the Java coding, making some tweaks, and everything, but we're wireless with gorgeous streaming video.
Subsequently, NEPA309.Com Mobile has a new page added to it for the new camera so you can download still images from it using a mobile device.
Future updates may include some tutorials about how to utilize TRENDnet cameras to do what I'm doing here, and also to do some other fun stuff. They're wonderful devices that, unfortunately, get an undeserved bad rap in many places around the web. I can understand if you're something of a novice with networking, coding, and cameras where these devices could be frustrating, or even somewhat intimidating - I'm planning on putting together some how-to's to demystify IP camera networking a bit so that anyone with a decent web connection can do some interesting things with IP cameras.

Mobularization, FAQ's, & Updations
-
NEPA309.Com has seen some updates and upgrades this weekend.
Take a look in the upper left hand corner of your browser window - yep, you can now get a view of the highway from your mobile device. I've been messing around with WAP/.wml-type stuff, and I figured out how to take the domain mobular.
I get asked questions about this domain quite a bit, often enough to begin a frequently asked questions page. I wrote it up the other night.
I've also purchased a new camera from newegg.com today. When it arrives, the TRENDnet TV-IP201W will be mounted (wirelessly) in my kitchen window, and will offer a similar view to what I had before I moved the cameras into my office. The camera also offers a superior lens system to the TV-IP100's that I'm using now, so hopefully we'll get an even better picture from it.
I also coded up this news and updates page you're reading right now...

NEPA309.Com's newest camera, TRENDnet's TV-IP201W, will finally bring the Camera Three slot online, and should offer an even better view of the highway. I'm also considering purchasing another, wider angle lens for it in the near future.
As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, you can e-mail me and let me know about them.
